• In December 2009 Agrifirma joined the Fund for Integrated and Sustainable Development of Bahia (Fundesis).
  
  
• We have also entered a partnership with Bioeste, the Institute for Biodiversity and Development of Western Bahia, to analyse our operations on the Campo Aberto farm and suggest improvements.
  
  
• We commissioned a study into the potential social and economic effect on local inhabitants in the area of the Bananal farm.
